St. Joseph Church in Summit Hill will host a Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile from 2-7 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the church social hall, 462 W. Ludlow St.

Committee members needed
Next year marks the 100-year anniversary of historic Ludlow Park in Summit Hill.
The Heritage Center and partners are reinstituting The Mule Drivers Ball as seen in Lee Mantz's book, and are seeking persons interested in serving on the steering committee. Those interested should contact Deb at firstname.lastname@example.org, or Lyle Mantz at Lyle2@ptd.net.

Vacation Bible school will be held at St. Paul's from Sunday, Aug. 1 through Thursday, Aug. 15 from 7-8:30 p.m. All area children from kindergarten through grade six are invited to attend.

A farewell reception for Vicar Siebert will be held on Aug. 11 following the worship service. Donations of light refreshments will be appreciated.

St. John Lutheran
Tonight at 7 p.m., St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will hold an informal worship. This will be a spiritual, peaceful, evening service with Holy Communion. All are welcome to this relaxed, brief, musical, evening prayer. For those who wish to come early, a free simple supper is served at 6 p.m., followed by a brief adult Bible study at 6:30.
