Schuylkill business are entered

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County business.

Troopers said the Hawk Mountain General Store/Valerio Service Station, located 16 Summer Valley Road, in West Brunswick Township, was entered about 2:04 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26.Entry was gained by forcing open the front door. Once inside the criminals removed several packs of cigarettes and a small amount of cash from behind the counter.Troopers are also probing another break-in. The second burglary occurred at the residence of Bonnie Lee Frayer, 71, of Pine Crest Village Drive, in Pine Grove Township. Entry was gained through an unsecured front window. Once inside the criminals removed the victim's purse. Entery occurred sometime between Jan. 23 at 10 p.m. and Jan. 24 at 6 a.m.Troopers are probing an incident of criminal mischief that occurred at 117 North St., Apt. 2J, in Port Carbon. Someone threw a stink bomb inside the apartment of Kelly Ginther, about 5:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25. No injuries were reported.
