Theft incidents being probed

State police at Lehighton are investigating two theft incidents.

Lawrence Glenmore Getz, of Albrightsville, and Michael Armstrong, of Effort, reported multiple assorted power tools and standard tools, including a Dewalt hammer drill, three Sawsall's, and other assorted tools, were stolen from Getz Personal Came Home, at 1027 Scenic Drive, in Kunkletown, Monroe County.

The theft occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and noon on Thursday, Feb. 7, troopers said.

The second theft was reported by Kathleen Marie Stokes, 45, of 209 New York Blvd., in Effort, Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers said a brand new eight rifle safe/gun cabinet was removed from the property sometime on Jan. 28. The cabinet was empty, troopers noted.
