Break-ins probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported on two burglaries probed by troopers.

The home of Miroslav Toman, 58, of 1562 Station Drive, Pocono Summit, Jackson Township, Monroe County, was entered by prying open a locked window. Once inside the criminals removed three cordless drills and an electrical meter. The entry occurred sometime between Nov. 24 and 30.

A home located at 240 Center Road, in Jackson Township, was entered through an unlocked window. Removed was about 20 feet of copper pipe. The home is owned by Fannie Mae, of Washington, D.C., and is in foreclosure, troopers said. The entry occurred sometime between Nov. 1 and Dec. 7.

Troopers are also investigating the theft of Christmas decorations from outside Peebles store, located at 1421 SR209, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The theft occurred sometime between Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. and Dec. 3 at noon.
