Theft, mischief incidents probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a theft and an act of criminal mischief, in separate incidents.

The theft was reported by John Corovich, 53, of 312 Switzgable Drive, in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Unknown criminals removed four "no trespassing" signs from Corovich's property which were affixed to trees. The theft occurred sometime between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on April 8.

Robert Christopher Snyder, 59, of 28 Engle Lane, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, reported someone damaged his telephone wiring harness box located outside of his residence and removed wires. The incident was reported at 6:52 p.m. on April 9.
