Two nights of explosive music are set for Penn's Peak, this week.

Friday night, it's Winter Jam, featuring Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke along with Citizen Band Radio and Cabinet. The concert action starts at 8 o'clock. Tickets are $22 at the door.On Saturday night, it's a tribute to Bruce Springsteen with "Bruce in the USA" performing on stage. Tickets for this event are also $22 at the door.Winter JamBlackberry Smoke is more than Southern rock.The band's bio states:"You can call Blackberry Smoke's music southern rock and you wouldn't be wrong. It was filmed at The Georgia Theatre at their sold out show from the newly renovated building.Citizen Band Radio is classified as vintage early 70's country and rock blended music.Their sound comes from a plethora of other artists: Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Jesse Colter and the Rolling Stones, to name a few. CB Radio has taken a little bit of each of these artists and blended it all together to get their own unique sound.Cabinet, with their start merely five years ago in Wilkes-Barre, has outgrown their regional favorite tag and progressed on to a broader fan base. All this while still retaining their own signature Cabinet sound.Their backgrounds are eclectic, musically, and all that adds to their serious musicianship.The band has managed to weave bluegrass, country and folk influences into a gorgeous sound all their own. Cabinet consists of Pappy Biondo, J.P. Biondo, Mickey Coviello, Dylan Skursky, Todd Kopec and Jami Novak.Bruce in the USAFor the die hard Bruce Springsteen fan, this is one show you will not want to miss!Born on the Las Vegas strip in 2004, Bruce in The USA debuted at the Aladdin Hotel and Casino's "V Theatre."The band, which is led by Matt Ryan from the World Famous "Legends in Concert," is a note perfect and visually accurate recreation of Bruce Springsteen and the E. Street Band.Ryan has an amazing likeness to the real Bruce Springsteen. Not only does Matt look like Bruce, but he sounds just like him too.As for the E. Street Band members, they were all hand picked from some of the West Coast's most acclaimed musicians.
