Pennsylvania Acting Secretary of Health Michael Wolf will visit both Blue Mountain Health System hospitals today to present the state's first awards for "Excellence in Health Care Compliance."

The hospitals, Gnaden Huetten Memorial and Palmerton, being honored are two of seven facilities that had no health citations during the last state licensure survey and no major life safety code deficiencies on the last building inspection. The Department of Health licenses 244 hospitals statewide.
