Published November 23. 2012 05:02PM

A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of retail theft for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 20, about 12:30 p.m.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Dianne Ontiveros, 59, of Pottsville, was observed taking numerous items of jewelry and clothing from Boscov's Department Store, in the Fairlane Village Mall, Norwegian Township, and leaving the store without paying for them. The items had a total value of $610.35, troopers said.

She was arraigned before a district judge and failed to post 10 percent of the $25,000 bail set and was committed to the county prison in Pottsville.
