A Carbon County woman is facing a charge of felony theft following an incident in Jim Thorpe.

Borough police said on June 21 Rosemay Fauzio, of 504 North St., reported that she discovered two antique rings missing from her home.

She told police she believed that the rings may have been removed from her home by Rachael E. Greenzweig, 22, of 16 Cornell Ave., Palmerton, who was hired to clean the house.

Police interviewed Greenzweig on June 25 and she admitted taking the rings on June 15 and having a friend pawn them at a pawn shop in Lehighton for $90. The rings are valued at about $4,500.

Greenzweig has been charged with two felony three counts of theft and receiving stolen property, police said.
