Saturday's quick rain storm caused damage to area roads throughout our area. In some areas, the forces of the flowing surface water was so intense it tore up the asphalt, tar lines and recent repair patches, as is pictured here on SR209 in Coaldale. Road damage and displaced debris also resulted in numerous road closures throughout our area.
