The Breaker Boys football team will open its season on Sunday, March 25 when it hosts the Mountaintop Reapers team in Summit Hill.

Prior to the game, the Breaker Boys will be retiring Rob Marrero's #6 jersey. Marrero was a former player for both the Breaker Boys and the Reapers who was paralyzed during a Mountaintop game last season.

Marrero is expected to attend the game in his wheelchair.

Breaker Boys head coach/owner Scott Reese, said that representatives from all teams in the league are also expected to be in attendance for the event.

Most of the proceeds from the game, including the sale of refreshment stand items, will benefit the Marrero family.
