State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of a truck in Monroe County.

Troopers said Matthew G. Getz, 34, of Kunkletown, reported his 2001 Chevrolet Silverado truck was stolen from along Big Spring Blvd. at Lower Valley Road, in Polk Township, sometime between 1 and 2 p.m. on Friday, June 17.The truck is charcoal gray in color with a diamond plate tool box in the rear and a Remington .222 fireball rifle inside the truck. The rifle serial number is G6273498.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
