Dustin Gernert of New Ringgold is led from his arraignment on drug related charges by Tamaqua Patrolmen Tom Rodgers and Anthony Stanell. Gernert was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance after allegedly selling crystal meth to an undercover officer on Feb. 16. The controlled buys were made with the assistance of the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force. District Judge Stephen Bayer set bail at $25,000 straight bond. Gernert was incarcerated in the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, after being unable to post bail.
