The landscape of Panther Valley School Board won't be changing much, according to unofficial results of Tuesday's primary election. All candidates, except for Democrat Michelle Markovich, cross-filed for the five open seats.
Total Democratic votes were: incumbents Anthony DeMarco, 1,126 votes; William J. Hunsicker Sr., 1,013; newcomer Michelle Markovich, 923; Jeffrey Markovich, 911; R. Mickey Angst, 790 votes. There were also 118 write-ins.Total Republican votes were: DeMarco, 487 votes; Hunsicker, 503; J. Markovich, 474; Angst, 465 votes. There were also 151 write-ins, according to unofficial tallies.The names of the write-in candidates have yet to be announced.
