Twenty-two youngsters between the ages of 9 months and 3 years enrolled in a special swimming course at the Lehighton Municipal Swimming Pool. Audrey Hedash, the instructor for the course, said it is to teach water safety skills. "We want to familiarize the children with water," she said, adding that if nothing else, maybe the informal lessons might someday save a life, letting the youngster know what to do if he or she should be in the water without a parent.
