A Pocono Summit man was arrested Wednesday, March 24, after Pocono Mountain Regional police found a bag of marijuana in his pocket.

Joseph Woodman, 18, was a passenger in a car stopped by police on SR940 near Stoney Hollow Road for various vehicle code violations. As police were speaking to the driver, a teenage boy, they smelled the odor of marijuana.Further investigation revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana in the pants pocket of one of the vehicle's passengers, Woodman. He was arrested and charges have been filed through District Judge Richard Claypool's office in Pocono Pines.
