A Monroe County man is facing a firearms charge.

State police at Lehighton said Richard J. Frantz, 42, 561 Molasses Valley Rd., Kunkletown, was found to have in his possession a Ruger M77 30-06 caliber hunting rifle while not being licensed or privileged to do so.He will be charged with felon not to possess a firearm, troopers said.
