Mayor Chris Morrison has lifted the Snow Emergency Declaration for Tamaqua effective Thursday, Feb. 11, at 4:30 p.m.

There are no travel restrictions in Tamaqua but motorists are advised to use caution when driving.Any questions may be directed to Municipal Building, 320 E. Broad St., during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or call (570) 668-3444 or (570) 668-0300.
