The first social activity at Lansford's new Community Center, the old Lyceum Building on East Ridge Street, took place today. The first floor of the building, recently renovated through the efforts of the Lansford Lions Club and some volunteers, held a record dance complete with disc jockey and supervision. Sponsored by the Lansford Youth Center Association, the dance introduced youngsters to the spacious new quarters. The United Mine Workers occupy the second floor of the building.
