Summit Hill police busy

Summit Hill police have been busy with a variety of misbehavior.

Raymond Chera, 18, of 53 N. Moore St., New York City, N.Y. was cited. On Aug. 30, police received a complaint of a party at a campsite at Mauch Chunk Lake at 12:24 a.m. An investigation revealed that Chera was drinking alcoholic beverages. He was cited for underage drinking.On Sept. 18, police answered a complaint of a fight which occurred in the 100 block of N. Market Street. Two juveniles from Summit Hill, a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old, were involved. Both were issued citations for disorderly conduct.On April 29, police answered a complaint of theft of money from a residence. An investigation revealed that Trisha Andrews, 29, of 162 S. Fifth St. Lehighton, had allegedly stolen the money. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking.Whitley Bailey, 19, of 261 Stock St., Nesquehoning, was charged with harassment and theft of services for allegedly phoning in pizza orders to be sent to a Summit Hill home. The people in the home had not ordered the pies.John Lynn, 29, of 404 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill, was charged with simple assault and harassment after police received a complaint from a female on July 29 that she was allegedly assaulted by Lynn.
