Polk Township home is burglarized

A burglary at a home in Polk Township, Monroe County, is under investigation by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

The victim is Dennis J. Kresge, 51, of 1 Memorial Drive, Kunkletown.

He told police someone entered his residence through a rear door of the attached garage of the home sometime between 5 p.m. Nov. 19 and 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The actor(s) removed several feet of cooper pipe along with fluorescent bulbs that were in the garage and basement area. They then went to the kitchen area and stole a toaster, steak knife and dish towels before fleeing in an unknown direction.
