On August 16 Mahoning Township police investigated a retail theft at the Giant Food Store on SR443.

Police said Bruce S. Schleicher, of Mahoning Township, was detained by Giant loss prevention after he allegedly attempted to steal $72.44 worth of merchandise.As a result of the investigation Schleicher was charged with retail theft a summary offense.
