Dear Editor:

We always been under the impression, that if a neighbor on your street don't take care of their property it bring your property value down. That's no matter what you did to improve yours.

I thought if he didn't make repairs - get rid of weeds, cut grass and at least keep their home fairly clean that they would get a citation.

Dirty - smelly apartments - high weeks that bring rodents and unusual pests with standing water. Bring germs and sickness.

I think Carbon County needs a health department that would handle these problems. Citations and fines. Why should people get sick because some people are too lazy to take care of things they should.
