Carbon County commissioners on Thursday approved a number of personnel actions.

Employment separation: Joshua R. Grim, Tamaqua, a part-time corrections officer, effective March 28.Resignations: Jamie M. Blisard, Albrightsville, 911 operator, communications center, effective April 26; Ross M. Greenzwieg, Palmerton, part-time correctional officer, effective April 20; Shea Kelchner, Slatington, corrections officer, effective April 23; and Michael J. Martino, Summit Hill, corrections officer, effective April 1.Change of status: Christian G. Castro, Allentown, from part-time corrections officer/Teamsters, to corrections officer; effective April 29; Barbara J. Houser, Tamaqua, from part-time corrections officer to part-time corrections officer/Teamsters, effective April 29; Margaret A. We're off to a great start in 2013.The last all-time high was on April 30, 2011, Crampsie said. Then, the value was at $66,781,000."We're doing pretty well, and we hope that things will continue," he said.
