The Panthers scored three runs in the sixth inning to down the Golden Bears in six innings by a 13-1 score.
Mark Williams and Colton Black each had two hits and two RBI's for Panther Valley (1-7). Jake Szczecina also had two hits.

In a continued game in the bottom of the fourth inning of a rain out the other day, Pete Baddick scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh to lift Marian to a 8-7 Schuylkill League victory over visiting Weatherly.
Frank Nitez led the Colts with three singles and two RBIs, while Justin Bilka added a single, double and a run scored. Teammate Nick Kweder chipped in with two singles, two RBIs and a run scored.
Kevin Hinkle sparked the Wreckers with three singles and two runs scored, while Rob Hinkle recorded a single, double, two runs scored a RBI. Teammate Brian Maiwello contributed a single, home run and a three RBIs.

Senior Ashley Hullihan went the distance for Mahanoy and held the Lady Panthers to one hit. Desiree Malacusky went 3-for-4 in the win.

The Fillies grabbed a 7-2 win over Nativity in Schuylkill League softball, improving to 5-2 overall and 3-2 in the league.
Despite trailing 2-0 early on, Marian regained the lead in the top of the fourth and never looked back. Abbey Hill and Bryianna Pearson both had two hits, a RBI and scored a run each, while teammates Gabby Cann and Lindsay Nemeth both had two hits apiece, as well.
Meanwhile, Megan Parobeck and Erin Luckenbill both had a double and a single in the losing effort.
