State police at Lehighton reported on several driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers recently.

On Sunday, Sept. 9, about 2:15 a.m. troopers stopped Ward Crozier, 44, of Lehighton, along SR209 at Packerton Dam Drive, in Mahoning Township, Carbon County. He was taken for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.

Also at 2:15 a.m. on Sunday troopers stopped Denise Ann Tworkowsky, 43, of Jim Thorpe, at Penn St. and Main Rd., Franklin Township, Carbon County. She was taken for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

A third stop on Sunday, about 6:45 p.m. occurred along Canal Road, in Franklin Township. Stopped was Craig Kovac, 48, of McAdoo. He was taken for a blood test with the DUI charge pending the results.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, about 10:11 a.m. troopers stopped Regina May Young, 51, of Kunkletown, along SR209 at Trach Road, in Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, for multiple traffic violations. She was found to be under the influence and taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. She was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. Charges will be filed, troopers said.

On Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 9:17 p.m. troopers stopped Lawrence Michael Mustacchio, 53, of Summit Hill, at the intersection of Second and Alum streets., in Lehighton, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and arrested for DUI.
