The engagement of Ashley L. Barry of Harrington, Del. to George A. Steward II, also of Harrington, has been announced by their parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Barry of Lehighton. She is a 2004 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. In 2009 she received a bachelor's degree in large animal science and dairy science from Delaware Valley College. She is employed by Perdue as a service supervisor.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Arthur Steward of Harrington. He is a 2006 graduate of Campus Community High School.He earned an associate degree in agricultural production from Del Tech, and in December of this year, he will graduate from Delaware State with a degree in general agriculture. He is employed at Steward Farm, a family business.A wedding planned for March 2013.
