A McAdoo man is facing charges, including driving under the influence (DUI), following an incident in Rush Township on Oct. 24.

Township police made a traffic stop at 4:10 a.m. and identified the driver as Benjamin G. Smith, 22. Smith was transported to a Pottsville Hospital for blood work. The results indicated a .159 percent blood alcohol content.Other charges are also pending.
