The Carbon County Art League held its annual Summer Outdoor Supper recently at the pavilion at Bear Creek Lake in Jim Thorpe.

Some of the members chose to arrive early to draw and paint in an outdoor setting by the lake.

The CCAL is a group of artists some professional and others recreational including crafters, weavers, photographers, painters, printers, designers, sculptors, etc., as well as those who just love art. Members enjoy the pleasure of making and appreciating art.

They exhibit their work in gallery settings, take trips to museums and galleries; have guest artists and demonstrations at monthly meetings. They also do some fundraising for worthy causes.

The CCAL is also online on Facebook at "Carbon County Art League."
