State police at Fern Ridge reported on three crashes probed by troopers on roads in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, recently.

A one-vehicle crash occurred about 7:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, along Old Stagecoach Road. Troopers said Stephen D. Hellman, 51, of Brodheadsville, was driving a 2006 Jeep Compass eastbound when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree along the berm. Hellman was not injured.

He was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one- vehicle crash. State police at Frackville said the accident occurred about 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, along Valley Road, at the intersection with Lower Road, in Walker Township.

Troopers said Justin Lindenmuth, 25, of Quakake, was driving a 2009 Volkswagen GTI southbound when he lost control at the intersection. The car went off the left side of the road and hit a utility pole. Lindenmuth and his passenger, Matthew Barnisky, 23, of Brockton, were not injured.

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a rock-throwing incident that occurred along a Schuylkill County road.

Troopers said Denise Patricia Houser, of Barnesville, was driving a 2010 Dodge Caliber northbound along W. Market Street, in the area of Greenview Drive, in North Manheim Township, when someone threw a rock at her vehicle. It struck the front windshield of the vehicle, troopers said.

The person who threw the rock fled the area through the Schuylkill County Country Club golf course. The incident occurred about 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.

State police at Frackville reported on two crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways, both occurring on Friday, Feb. 25.

A tractor trailer rig crashed about 7:30 a.m. along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township. Troopers said Jonathan Mader, 46, of Duncannon, Perry County, was driving a 2010 Volvo tractor with trailer southbound when the rig left the road for unknown reasons and onto the berm where it rolled over and came to rest.

Mader was not injured but the tractor had to be towed. Troopers said Mader was cited for the crash.

State police at Frackville are investigating a theft incident at a Schuylkill County business.

Troopers said a garage at 83 W. Rausch's Rd., in East Brunswick Township, was entered sometime between 11 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21, and 6:20 a.m. on Feb. 22. Removed was several chain saws and tools. The property is owned by JC Hill Tree Farms Inc., of Orwigsburg.

Two out-of-state residents were jailed this week following an incident in Kidder Township.

Township police said on Wednesday, Feb. 23, about 6:53 p.m. officers were called to the Split Rock Gallaeria, in Lake Harmony, for an incident. As a result of an investigation Michael Greslik, 41, of Greenwood, N.Y., and Tanya Miano, 37, of Bergenfield, N.J., were charged with simple assault and persistent disorderly conduct for causing a disturbance in the business.

State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident at a Carbon County residence.

Troopers said Robert Murphy, 67, of Hopewell, N.J., reported a digital camera was missing from his residence located along White Oak Drive, on Penn Forest Township, Jim Thorpe. The theft occurred sometime between 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, and 7 a.m. on Thursday. The camera is valued at $200.

A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of simple assault following an incident at her residence.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 10:19 a.m. on Feb. 19 officers were dispatched to Laurel Drive in Stillwater Lakes, Pocono Summit, to assist ambulance personnel with a possible overdose.

Upon arrival officers identified Regina Falkowska, 57, of that address had consumed a bottle of vodka. She was checked out by paramedics and then placed under arrest for simple assault. She assaulted her husband after consuming the alcohol, police said.

A Palmerton woman is facing several charges related to accessing another woman's computer network account.

Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith has charged Amanda L. Hunsicker, 23, of 414 Delaware Ave., Apt. B, with one count each of computer trespass, disruption of service, computer theft, unlawful duplication and harassment. All counts are felony threes, except the harassment charge, which is a misdemeanor three.

A New Jersey resident was arrested this week in Monroe County on various drug selling charges.

Pocono Mountain Regional police identified the man as Adrian Young, 32, of Patterson.

Police said Young's arrest was part of an ongoing investigation of drug trafficking in the area which indicated that he was involved. The investigation indicated that Young would purchase bulk quantities of controlled substances in Patterson and come to the Poconos with them.
