A criminal mischief incident that was reported at 7:50 a.m. June 19 in Ross Township is being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said the incident happened at 191 Ruby Court when someone damaged a mailbox owned by William Smith, 67, of Saylorsburg.

Jeffery Koehler, 30, of Kresgeville, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after police made a traffic stop at 2:10 p.m. June 6 on Route 209 at Sunny's Exxon Gas Station in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he was stopped for a traffic violation after which time police found him to be under the influence of drugs and in possession of marijuana and a pipe.

Alex Edwin Christman, 20, of Lansdale, was arrested earlier this week after eluding police who had attempted to stop him for several traffic violations.

According to state police at Lehighton, at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, troopers made an attempt to stop Christman, who was driving a 2007 YZF450 dirt bike traveling on Route 209 in the area of Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Two neighbors who engaged in threatening behavior against each other in a property dispute have been arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said the incident happened at 12:20 p.m. June 18 along Richard Lane in Eldred Township.

Cited were Jeffrey Barnett, 52, and Margaret Forte, 58, both of Kunkletown.

Minor damages resulted when a car was struck in the parking lot of the Bowmanstown Diner in Bowmanstown.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said the 2013 Subaru Impreza is owned by Jared Behler of Lehighton.

Police said the vehicle sustained rear bumper damages when it was struck by another vehicle. No date of the incident was revealed by police.

The Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board cited a Carbon County business for violating the state liquor code.

Terpstra's Tavern Inc., located at 501 North St. in Jim Thorpe, was cited for fortified, adulterated and/or contaminated liquor. The offense occurred on April 22, the citation states.

Paris J. Cooks, 29, of Weissport, was cited for harassment by state police at the Lehighton barracks after they were summoned to 200 Bridge St. in the borough at 5:28 a.m. Thursday.

Police said Cooks and a 29-year-old woman were involved in a verbal altercation during which time it is alleged Cooks pushed the woman.

State police at the Lehighton barracks have arrested a 27-year-old Whitehall man for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

Police did not reveal the identity of the man, saying only that the charge stemmed from a traffic stop police made at 12:35 a.m. June 18 on Route 248 in Palmerton.

State police at Lehighton are searching for whoever stole approximately 200 gallons of fuel from four bulldozers in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

The incident occurred between 7 p.m. June 10 and 6 a.m. June 11 along Route 903, just south of the Bear Creek Lakes community.

The owner of the bull dozers is Papillon & Moyer Contracting.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.

No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 12:40 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Burger Hollow and Pheasant Run roads in Polk Township, according to state police at the Lehighton barracks.
