Camp Papillon holds open house

This Saturday, animal lovers are invited to come out for an open house filled with furry friends, food, and fun in Brodheadsville.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Camp Papillon will bring out some of their adoptable rescue animals to 1841 Route 209. The festivities will include free food and drinks, finger printing for children and the elderly, face painting, massages, raffles, and more.The event is sponsored by Budget Store and Lock, Melissa Williams Income Tax Service, June O'Neill Tax Collector, West End Counseling, Body and Soul Massage, Christman Insurance, The Shoppe, and My Lab Choice.Camp Papillon is requesting donations of unscented kitty litter, 55-gallon trash bags, laundry detergent, Dawn dish detergent, and waste bags. Each donation earns a raffle ticket good toward one of the many giveaways.
