Palmerton graduate Darris Rodrigues recently earned first place in the pole vault at the Capital Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.

Rodrigues, a junior at York College, cleared 4.25 meters (13-11 1/4) to win the event. The former Blue Bomber was one of three York athletes to place in the top four.Rodrigues, a nursing major, also cleared 4.25 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitation earlier in the season to gain a third-place finish.
