The Carbon County Environmental Education Center will host a white-water rafting trip at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The event will last until approximately 3 p.m. and will run rain or shine.Anyone ages 5 and up is invited to join the center as they raft down the Lehigh River.There is a cost to participate in the event and includes basic gear for the trip. Proceeds from the event benefit CCEEC.Participants are asked to bring a snack and drink. After the excursion, there will be hot dogs, chips and pretzels, courtesy of Whitewater Rafting Adventures.Prepaid registration is required.
