The Tamaqua Area Faith and Fellowship Network will host a free summer celebration event Sundayat the Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St.

This will be the fourth year for the community event.The celebration will begin at 7 p.m. and include an ecumenical evening of music, fellowship and ice cream. Music will be provided by the Blue Mountain Community Church Praise Band, led by Pastor Jennifer Eckhart.Local participants will include the Rev. Kevin Robert, the Rev. John Frink, Rick Clemson, Major Sharon Whispell, the Rev. Kevin Duffy-Guy, the Rev. Cindy White and the Rev. Darryl Kensinger, who will offer short messages between praise sets.A freewill offering will be taken and donated to the praise band and the art center.TAFFN is an organization of lay leaders from Tamaqua area churches and other organizations doing God's work in the community.The group operates as a 501(c)(3) under the umbrella of the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership.For more information, call 570-668-1192.
