A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a two-vehicle crash that occurred around 9:45 a.m. Sunday.

State police at Frackville said Danielle Evans, 31, of Auburn, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier westbound on Route 443 in Walker Township and traveling through a curve when her vehicle crossed the center line and collided into an eastbound 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 truck driven by Robert Digilio, 70, of Tamaqua.No one was injured but both vehicles sustained heavy damages, troopers said.Evans showed signs of being under the influence and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. She was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital South - Pottsville Campus, for a blood test. The DUI count is pending the test results.Troopers were assisted by fire personnel from Tamaqua.
