Marian Catholic High School's chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America held induction ceremonies for 85 students and officers on Oct. 12.

Members and officers do various fundraisers to help support different causes and donate their time to provide service for others. This year is especially exciting as the Marian chapter is celebrating FBLA's 75th anniversary. The mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Future plans for Marian Catholic's FBLA club include fundraising for the PAFBLA state project this year, which benefits "The National Kidney Foundation," an organization dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease. This year's project theme is "Reach Out, Give a PAT on the Back."FBLA also gives members the opportunity to compete in business related topics on local, state and national levels.Officers for 2016-2017 are: Megan Ferrello, president; Gabrielle Tout, vice president; Michael Ecker, treasurer; Alexandria Dutz, secretary.
