Mr. and Mrs. William Ravert of Bowmanstown are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on March 19, 1966.

Mrs. Ravert is the former Cheryl Steigerwalt, daughter of the late Wilbur and Althea Steigerwalt of Palmerton. Her husband is the son of the late Charles and Miriam Ravert of Walnutport.William worked for the former New Jersey Zinc Company for 33 years, then for a property maintenance company until retiring in 2007.Cheryl worked for Scotty's Fashion's, and Blue Mountain Health Systems until retiring in 2014.They have two children, William Jr., a pharmacist from Palmerton, and Laurel from Maryland. They have three grandchildren, Taylor in college, and Crosby and Nash, who are both in high school.The Raverts will celebrate with a family dinner
