Geralyn Scarpati and William Terry Hartman of Jim Thorpe were united in marriage April 8, 2016, at the Mauch Chunk Ballroom in Jim Thorpe. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Anthony Pallotto. Chris Betz was the organist, while the bride's sister, Jeanette Richards, was the vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Jerome F. Scarpati of Orwigsburg.She was attended by her daughter, Jenyne Podlinski of Macungie, and Angel Sauro of Delran, New Jersey, as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Heather Masonheimer of Northampton, daughter of the bridegroom, and Veronica Scarpati of Orwigsburg, the bride's daughter-in-law.Mike Hartman of Northampton served as his brother's best man. Ushers were John Sauro of Delran, Jerome Scarpati, and Bob Podlinski of Macungie, the bride's son-in-law.Charlotte Podlinski, the bride's granddaughter, was the flower girl. Ring bearers were her grandsons, Tripp Podlinski and Jerome M. Scarpati and Jack Scarpati.Readers during the ceremony were Carly Masonheimer of Northampton, granddaughter of the bridegroom; Dan Rossino of Lehighton, brother of the bride; Julianna Sauro, godchild of the bride; and David Richards, godchild of the bride.Greeters were Brooke Masonheimer and Paige Masonheimer of Northampton, grandchildren of the bridegroom.The new Mrs. Hartman is the daughter of Eleanor McNealis of Jim Thorpe and the late Frank Rossino. She is employed as a work experience assistant for the CLIU#21.Her husband is the son of the late Ida Mae and Harry "Tinker" Hartman of Northampton. He served in the U.S. Navy and is retired from Mack Trucks and Roadway.Following the ceremony the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at the Mauch Chunk Ballroom. They honeymooned at Breathless in Punta Cana.
