The Panther Valley boys basketball program and the Hoopster Booster Club will recognize members of the 1986 boys basketball team on the 30th anniversary of their Schuylkill League and District 11 championships, and their appearance in the PIAA Eastern Finals.

This recognition will take place during halftime of the Panthers opening night game vs. Jim Thorpe on Friday Dec. 9.Team members included head coach Rich Davidyock, assistant coach Mike Frendak, Mike Dubosky, Rob Fritzinger, Shawn Hoben, Tim Hoben, Gary Karnish, Buddy Ligenza, Jim Mikovich, Brian Raabe, Rob Thear, Paul Goida, Brian Ouly, Jim Paluck, Tom Schlemmer, Ted Shober, Gene Snisky, manager K. Szczecina, and manager M. Hughes.
