A Lehigh County woman faces charges on possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as two counts of driving under suspension, and expired inspection.

Kaliah Santiago-Colon, 20, of Slatington, is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Sept. 28 before District Judge William Kissner of Palmerton.According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by patrolman Adam Shimer of the Palmerton Police Department:Shimer was on patrol on Delaware Avenue when a 2004 Toyota sedan passed heading west with an expired inspection date as of April of this year.Shimer conducted a traffic stop on the Toyota driven by Santiago-Colon on the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.He determined her driving privileges were suspended as part of a DUI conviction.Santiago-Colon consented to a vehicle search and Shimer recovered a glass pipe with burned marijuana residue on it in the center compartment next to the driver.
