Winning ticket nears expiration

MIDDLETOWN - A Pennsylvania Lottery Cash4Life ticket worth $1,000 a week for life, or a cash prize of $1 million, will expire if not claimed by Sept. 14.

The winningticket was sold by Price Chopper, 4551 Milford Road in East Stroudsburg for the Sept. 14, 2015, drawing. A prize claim must be filed at lottery headquarters bySept. 14, 2016.It correctly matched all five balls drawn, 03-07-14-19-25, but not the green Cash Ball, 02, to win an annuity prize valued at $1,000 a week ($52,000 a year) for life or a cash prize of $1 million, less applicable tax withholding.The ticket holder should sign the back of their ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a timely claim. Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the headquarters office in Middletown, Dauphin County.By law, unclaimed, expired lottery prizes remain in the lottery fund and are used to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians.
