Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Curvey of Tamaqua celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2. They were married in Trinity Reformed Church, Tamaqua, by the late Rev. John Kleinginna.

Mrs. Curvey is the former Evelyn Betz, daughter of the late John C. and Bertha Betz.Mr. Curvey is the son of the late Jacob and Mabel Curvey.The couple has four children: Larry of Hometown, James of Brockton, Jon of West Penn Township and Diane of Tamaqua.They also have 10 grandchildren: Danielle, Jennifer, Heather, Samantha, Matthew, Jon Alan, Brianne, Lacey, Dannielle and Kyle; and five great-grandchildren.
