State police at the Lehighton barracks announced troopers will be conducting stationary/roving DUI patrols Friday through Sunday.

The operation is part of the state police Selective Traffic Enforcement Against Drunk Driving (STEAD D) program. The operation will cover Carbon and Monroe counties.
