An armored truck crashed on an exit ramp to Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County on Tuesday.

State police at Frackville said Michael M. Fuentes, 31, of Bear Creek Township, Luzerne County, was driving a 2005 Ford F650 truck southbound in Kline Township at 12:55 p.m. and exiting the interstate. Troopers said Fuentes failed to negotiate a sharp left curve. The truck went onto the berm on the right side and struck an embankment. It continued about 375 feet off the road, came back onto the road, and then flipped over onto the passenger side. The truck then slid across the road and came to rest facing north along the left shoulder.A passenger, Kyle M. Wardecki, 24, of Wilkes-Barre, sustained a minor injury but did not require medical attention. The truck's contents remained secured in the truck.Fuentes was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
