A missing 12-year-old Jim Thorpe boy was located near his home in Jim Thorpe.

State police issued an amber child abduction alert for the Jim Thorpe Police Department this morning. Officials began searching and located him near his home.

Mason Pachulski, a white 12-year-old male, 4-foot 4 inches tall, 80 pounds, dressed in dark pants and a dark shirt, red hair, blue eyes, wearing Blur framed glasses, had last been seen behind his residence on Center Avenue in Jim Thorpe between 7:10 and 7:30 a.m. today.
