Pocono Mountain Regional police are investigating a theft incident that occurred at the Walmart store, located along Route 940 in Mount Pocono.

Police said at 7:30 p.m. April 24, a female entered the store, selected a shopping cart and placed her wallet on the cart. She then stepped away from the cart to speak with the greeter at the door. When she returned to the cart the wallet was gone.Police said video footage of the entrance area showed a female, wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt under a denim jacket, with decorative headware, taking the wallet and leaving the store.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at 570-895-2400.
