Schuylkill Countycommissioners on Wednesday hired Jordan Hoffman, New Ringgold, as project coordinator for the county prison.
Hoffman's duties include updating policies and procedures and coordinating training. She'll work on a per diem basis and earn $11 an hour at the newly created job.Other personnel moves were:Rest Haven: Commissioners approved the termination of part-time nurse's aide Jillian Emerich, Cressona; appointed part-time licensed practical nurses Carmella Mattera, New Philadelphia, and Jennifer Ebling, Pottsville, both at $16.97 an hour; transferred Brianna Roth, Schuylkill Haven, from full-time nurses' aide to part-time at 12.44 an hour; Lugene Eyrich, New Ringgold, from part-time housekeeper to full-time maintenance at $12.73 an hour; Amy Jenkins, Pottsville, from part-time nurses' aide to full-time; and Fallyn Brachman, Tamaqua, from part-time to full-time nurses' aide, both at $12.44 an hour.They also accepted the resignations of per diem registered nurse Gail Newton, Pottsville; part-time nurses' aide Kathryn Newmoyer, Pottsville; and part-time storeroom clerk Shane McCoog, Ringtown.911/communications: Commissioners accepted the resignation of Jennifer Koons, Pottsville, from her job as telecommunicator three.Prison: Appointed Jessica Haberstroh, East Brunswick Township, as personnel/fiscal assistant at $15.90 an hour.Court Administration: Approved the transfer of Linda Dillman, Frackville, from secretary II in the district attorney's office to judicial secretary at $29,944 a year.Public Defender: Accepted the resignation of Nicole Kennedy, Schuylkill Haven, from her $16 an hour investigator's job, and appointed Rosa Morales, Schuylkill Haven, as an unpaid intern.
