Indians, Bulldogs grab FH wins

Lehighton and Northern Lehigh wound up winners in field hockey action on Tuesday.

FIELD HOCKEYPalmerton-LehightonLehighton rallied for a 2-1 non-league victory over Palmerton.After Trisha Billig got the Bombers on the board with a first-half goal, Lehighton's Allie Rossino answered back just 30 seconds later to knot the game at 1-1.Emma Sawyer then scored the game-winning goal with 8:06 remaining in the game off an assist by Riley Durishin.Lehighton (2-5) held a 16-10 advantage in shots and a 12-9 edge in corners.Michelle Bozilesky made nine saves in goal for the Indians, while Palmerton's Candis Keck stopped 15 shots.
