A Carbon County woman has been charged with possession of narcotics.

On June 8 at 6:02 p.m. Lower Saucon Township Police Department officers stopped a vehicle traveling along Riverside Drive for a summary motor vehicle code infraction.During the stop, it was learned that the defendant, Anna Rehrig, 42, of 51 Bowens Road, Lehighton, was driving with a suspended license.Officers also detected the odor of narcotics emitting from the vehicle.A search of the vehicle with police K9 Atos revealed a small amount of methamphetamine and multiple pieces of paraphernalia.Rehrig was processed at the scene and released. She has been charged with summary violations, as well as possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
